I am the Sales Manager agent at Mayo & Co Real Estate located in Rundle St, Kent Town. Withstanding all tests of time, Mayo has been successfully operating from the same building for nearing 40 years and I have joined the family business to lead it in to the future with the new generation. With a long history of sales behind me, I entered the field of real estate many years ago working for two of the biggest franchised agencies, where I gained a broad knowledge of the different approaches and methods. Armed with a solid background in the industry I joined my father-in-law, Mike Mayo, founder & owner of the company, to head the sales department. Excited to now be a part of one of the longest established boutique agencies in Adelaide, I am enjoying the ability to concentrate on providing my clients with a more personal approach, unfettered by company franchise policies. To my clients I have become well known as hard working, ethical and honest – qualities that, in the real estate industry, can be hard to find. Working for the family business, I have a vested interest in making every sale a successful one and it is important to me that my client relationships are built from trust. I offer unrivalled personal service, excellent attention to detail and keen negotiation skills. Our company offers the best facilities available for marketing including the biggest website in Australia - realestate.com.au – a very important component of the sale process. Unlike many larger companies we do not inflate your advertising dollar (a rather healthy side business for some) and I answer or return all phone calls personally, with haste and enthusiasm, treating all enquiries with equal importance. I do not view some properties or clients as ‘more’ or ‘less’ important and never pass on my appointments, open inspections or calls to my assistant. In order to ensure the highest possible price and greatest amount of competition for all of my properties, I believe that personal contact with all parties is vital. Personal Sales Achievements: Invited by the Real Estate Institute of South Australia (REISA) to take a place on the committee for the “Next Generation” Held a position on the REISA Committee for the Next Generation for the past 2 years and still currently serving. Registered and practicing auctioneer through The Society of Auctioneers and Appraisers and mentored by Brett Rhoenfeldt, SA’s leading independent Auctioneer. Inducted in to The Ambassadors’ Club for Sales Excellence (2001) Increased sales turnover at Mayo & Co Real Estate by 35% in the first year and maintained an average growth of 15%p.a. since.

Kirsty Bennett

General Manager / Land Agent

After years of experience in both Sales and Rentals, Kirsty now works ‘behind the scenes’ to provide backup for both departments and a bit of a ‘vision’ for the company. Having fulfilled the position as the Senior Property Manager for several years and then heading the Sales Department as a hands-on sales person, she knows every aspect of the entire business and understands the ‘trials & tribulations’ that each & every staff member goes through on a daily basis. With everyone so busy on the job, Kirsty’s role gives Mayo & Co the ability to take a breath & look at the big picture every now & then and generally keep the staffing side of things in balance. As an extra ‘body’ on site, she can provide practical relief when things get crazy, and as a license holder herself, she is qualified to deal with every aspect of real estate, ensuring that all company policies & procedures are both lawful & ethical.

Jodie Parish

Senior Property Manager

Jodie joined the Property Management team in 2003 and has been the Senior Property Manager for the past 10 years. With a degree in Property, several certificates in Property Management, including Levels 1 & 2, and a Commercial Leasing Certificate she is a wealth of knowledge and runs our rent-roll in a full time position. Overseeing all aspects of the department, she ensures that all records are up to date, our Trust Account is impeccable, lease renewals are on time & accurate, landlords are well represented in RTT court hearings and that our landlords remain happy on all levels. Honest, hard working, she is confident, unflappable and licks her lips at a challenge.

Sarah Elias

Property Manager

With years of experience in corporate rental placement and re-location, Sarah keeps tabs on all of our rental properties & makes sure each is being well looked after by our tenants. With a property related degree behind her, she knows how to work hard and efficiently, and as a mum with her own high standards of living, she runs our inspection schedule, performs final inspections, reports to our landlords and, in general, keeps a close eye on our 1500+ tenants.

Effie Miller

Assistant Property Manager / Receptionist

Effie operates our front of house & keeps everything under control. Amongst juggling phone calls, receipting rents, reconciling our trust account and coordinating our Landlord’s Statements she somehow manages to welcome our clients with a big grin every time and support us in a number of other areas. Her warm, friendly manner keeps a sense of calm in the office.

Mike Mayo

Firmly entrenched in the same building in Kent Town for over 40 years, Mike has been practicing real estate for a long time. Well known and seriously trusted and respected in his field, Mike has explored every avenue that real estate has to offer and made a very successful career out of it. Entrepreneurial by nature, he has owned and run a very busy sales office for the past 4 decades, owned & run a very tight & flourishing rent roll for over 16 years, acted many times as a purchasers’ agent for SA clients buying interstate properties (WA, NSW, NT, VIC) – providing advice on the right time to buy & sell and selecting the most promising areas (very fruitful for his clients). And, of course, throughout the years as a busy sales agent he has sold, sold, sold - all types of properties from residential homes, commercial listings, blocks of land, subdivisions, land developments and investment properties. Now, with his daughter & son-in-law, the business is continuing with a new life and modern vision. Keeping all of the same longstanding, valued staff, Mike and the team have expanded over the past decade, to double the sales department and grow the rent roll in to one of Adelaide's most trusted and wellknown brands. As the owner of one of the longest standing boutique agencies in SA, Mike has seen some 'big guns' come & go and has managed to continue running a fruitful business with an honest, personal approach and a strong loyal client base.

Pam Mayo

Proprietor / Land Agent

Mike’s wife and fellow license holder, Pam has always been the steady backbone of the company, providing occasional support for both Sales and Rentals since Mayo & Co was founded. Responsible for the trust accounts and the BASS statements, she checks and balances every last cent on a monthly basis and ensures that all records are up to date and reconciling. Performing her role on a part-time basis, she is also a qualified Interior Architect and any visitor to Mayo & Co quickly realizes the architectural influence when they take a seat in the impressive office extension
